Chairman NBA AGC Sub-Committee On Sports; Godwin N. Madubuko Leads Auta Nyada & Others On An Inspection Tour To The National Stadium

Distinguished Colleagues,

RE: INSPECTION OF FACILITIES AT THE MOSHOOD ABIOLA NATIONAL STADIUM. 

Today, myself and the following members, Auta Nyada, Chimezie Obi and Otiga Okpanachi inspected facilities at the Stadium in preparation for the NBA-AGC SPORTS EVENTS.

I am happy to report that we had a successful inspection. We noted the two football pitch that we will use for the football tournament and attletics. I will liaise with the President of NBA to see if we can host the finals of the football tournament inside the Main Bowl.

We also noted the various Courts that will be used for Volleyball, Basketball,Lawn Tennis and the indoor sports hall for Badminton and Table Tennis; as well as the massive Olympic sized Swimming Pool for the Swimming competition.

I will put up a preliminary report for the attention of the TCCP Chairman and the President of NBA.

I want to thank the gentlemen who made out time for the inspection.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
