NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) in collaboration with  International Federation of Women Lawyers(FIDA) and Institute of Chatered Mediators & Conciliators(ICMC) invites members and the general public to a Night of Tributes in honour of late Dr. Hauwa Evelyn Shekarau who until her death was the Chairman of NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar). 

The details are as follow:

Date: Tuesday 28th September, 2021

Time: 4:00pm prompt

Venue: National Christian Centre, (Ecumenical), Central Business District, Abuja.  

Members are encouraged to come and pay their last respect to our late chairman with their presence at the event. 
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace and may the Lord comfort us and the family she left behind, Amen.  

Please note that COVID-19 Protocols will be strictly enforced.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
