Desmond Yamah Esq, A One Time Chairman Of NBA Abuja  Condemned In Strong Terms The Recent Assault On A Lawyer By Men Of The Nigerian Customs Service

He observed that the legal practitioner who was only doing his job did  nothing to provoke the physical assault and public ridicule to which he was subjected by the uniforms men paid with Taxpayer's money to serve the public.

Yamah called on the NBA - SARC COMMITTEE and all well meaning lawyers to take urgent steps to stamp its authority on the situation.

We need to make a BOLD STATEMENT on this occasion. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
