Happy New Year Message From NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar)

The Chairman Moses A. Ebute, SAN and Executive of NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) welcome members to year 2022 and the first working day of the year which is tagged year of progress and unity for branch members, NBA in general and Nigeria at large. 

The Executive is also using this medium to also remind members of the provisions of Rule 9 (1) - (3) of Rules of Professional Conduct that makes it mandatory for every legal practitioner to pay his or her practicing fee and branch dues on or before 31st March of every year.  

Note that the NBA National has made the payment of practicing fee simless by introducing online payment. 
In the same vain, the indefatigable Chairman Moses A. Ebute, SAN. led Executive has also followed suit by introducing transfer payment of branch dues for its members. 

In a nutshell, what this means is that members of NBA Abuja Branch can transfer to this;

BANK: ACCESS
then send evidence of payment to, email:  nbaabujabranchsecretariat@gmail.com or take the evidence of transfer to branch secretariat located at flat 2, Block 16, FCDA Quarters, Kashim Ibrahim Way, off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja for issuance of receipt. 

Also for lawyers who are yet to be issued with their enrollment number from the Supreme Court, they can make the payment then visit www.nigerianbar.org.ng to upload their credentials and fill out the requirements to get verified. 

The Executive is also assuring members of its resolute in piloting affairs of the branch in the best interest of members.

Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
