Yakubu Bawa Congratulates MULAN On Its 13th Annual General Conference

Yakubu Bawa, Esq. the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Jos Branch ceases this opportunity to congratulate the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) under the distinguished leadership of Prof. Abdulqadir I. Abikan.

The conference which is held in Minna, Niger State with the theme: Nigeria: A Nation in Need of Reorientation, Reintegration and Rehabilitation commenced yesterday, 7th October, 2021 will end on 10th October, 2021.

The conference is an excellent one with an amazing program, great speakers and an awesome theme

Bawa, Esq. stated that the theme of the conference is apt, infact our nation is in dire need of reorientation, reintegration and rehabilitation. 

We are in need of reorientation in oder for the citizens to have an attitudinal change to understand the need for national reintegration and for the nation to experience economic development and national prosperity. We must be  integrated so as to consolidate our corporate existence. 

He also emphasised that rehabilitation is key at this point in our nation's life because rehabilitation is paramount due to the quantum of damages and havoc that  have wrecked this nation. I therefore, commend MULAN for the choice of theme.

Bawa, Esq. concluded by wishing all the participants and conferees a very rewarding and satisfying experience during the conference and I also wish you all journey mercies as you travel back to your different destinations.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
