Desmond Yamah Celebrates Nigeria At 61 With Love And Hope

Former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch and the alternate Chairman, NBA Secretariat Restructuring Committee, Desmond Yamah, Esq., celebrates Nigeria at 61 with love and Hope.

Yamah, while wishing Nigeria happy anniversary stated that Nigeria as a country with over one hundred and seventy million people with a lot of diversity in tribe, culture and religion still has hope of a brighter future despite the enormous challenges she has faced and is still facing.

Yamah calls for the absolute implementation of financial autonomy for the Judiciary across all the States of the federation, improved security apparatus for effective security of lives and property and also improved healthcare amongst other things for the citizens of the country.

He concluded by saying that there can only be hope for a better Nigeria when there is love and peaceful coexistence among the citizens and calls for all the citizens to eschew violence and actions that are capable of undermining and threatening our democracy.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
