The NBA Uyo Branch Human Rights Committee uses this opportunity to appreciate all those who participated by one way or the other in her 2024 Childrens' Day Celebrations which commenced with line up of activities from 22nd May, 2024 to 29th May, 2024 with the theme, protecting the Nigerian child from the dangers of online technology.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon. Akpan bagged the one year jail term in a judgement delivered on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 by Presiding Magistrate Sam Ukoima Esq of Magistrate Court 11, Uyo.
