Blessing Udofa-Poromon Esq. And Others Cleared to Contest the Forthcoming NBA National Officers' Election

Blessing Udofa-Poromon Esq. former Welfare Secretary of NBA Uyo Branch and currently the Secretary of Law Officers' Association of Nigeria (LOAN), Akwa Ibom State Chapter has been cleared by the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) to run for the office of Treasurer in the forthcoming 2024 NBA National Officers' Election.

A document obtained by our correspondent, dated May 3, 2024, and signed by the chairman, Electoral Committee of the NBA, Oluseun Abimbola (SAN), and the Secretary, Huwaila Ibrahim, respectively has cleared 37 contestants vying for various positions in its forthcoming election of National Officers and NBA representatives at the General Council of Bar.

It was reported that the NBA election is scheduled to take place on July 20, 2024, and all registered members from branches across the country are expected to participate.
