NBA Uyo Branch Announces 2024 Bar Week

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Uyo Branch has announced the date for her 2024 Annual Law Week.

In a statement by the Chairperson of NBA Uyo Branch Bar Week Committee, Mrs. Mfon Udo-Inyang, the Branch's 2024 Annual Bar Week is scheduled to hold from 13th – 19th April 2024 at NBA Uyo Permanent Bar Secretariat, Banking Layout, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State with the theme: "Facing the Future: Justice Delivery, Technology and the Bar"

Registration fee schedule is as follows:

1 - 4 years (N5,000)

5 - 9 years (N7,500)

10 - 14 years (N10,000)

15 - 19 years (N12,500)

20 years and above (N15,000)

SANs & Benchers (N150,000)

All payments to be made to Nigerian Bar Association Uyo Branch - 1310717365 (Zenith Bank)

This year’s Uyo Branch Bar Week promises to be educative and interesting as series of programmes have been lined up.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
