EBF Governor, Aniekan Amos Akpan Esq. Welcomes Members To Abuja

On behalf of the Governing Council, I heartily welcome our members as they make the journey to Abuja from all over the country by road, rail, sea and by air. I pray that everyone will arrive and return safely.

It is my wish that we all derive maximum benefits from this Conference in our practice and our network of friendships.

Though our Governing Council is barely 5 days old in office, we are considering, with your support, the possibility of playing host to our members in the usual manner during the Conference. Further information on this will be disseminated in the next couple of days.

I wish you all a safe stay in Abuja and urge you to make the best of all that the Conference has to offer and  look forward to seeing you in the course of the Conference.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon. Akpan bagged the one year jail term in a judgement delivered on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 by Presiding Magistrate Sam Ukoima Esq of Magistrate Court 11, Uyo.
