Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN Attends NBA Owerri Branch Law Week

The Chairman of the Security Agencies Relations Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (SARC- NBA), Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN attended the opening ceremony of NBA Owerri Branch Law Week held at Villa Garden Hotel, New Owerri, Imo State on the 4th day of May, 2023 with the theme: *State of Legal Practice in Nigeria: Owerri in Focus*. The Branch Law Week ceremony which commenced yesterday, 4th May, 2023 will come to an end on 7th May, 2023.

The former Chairman of NBA Lagos Branch, Ikwuazom, SAN was welcomed by the Chairman of the Branch, Mr. U. D. Alinnor, ACArb and other distinguished members of the Branch.

Members of the Branch had a nice time with the Learned Silk who flew in from Lagos State to attend the opening ceremony.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
