Breaking!!! NBA Branch Election Appeals Committee (East) Disqualifies Viktor Benebo From Contesting Office Of Chairman Of NBA Port Harcourt Branch For Publishing Defamatory Material Villifying His Opponent

The NBA Branch Electoral Appeals Committee (Eastern zone) has struck again as it upheld an appeal by Romeo Isokariari, Esq, a candidate for Chairman of the NBA Port Harcourt Branch, contesting the refusal of the Branch ELECO to disqualify his opponent Viktor Benebo in the face of the defamatory bulk SMS traced to the Respondent and his supporters. 

In the ruling of the Appeals Committee which is final by virtue of the NBA Uniform By-Laws, the Committee deprecated the conduct of Mr. Benebo and his supporters for using such derogatory words as "wolf in sheep's clothing" and "gigolo" amongst others, to refer to his opponent. The Committee considered such campaign of calumny through bullying of an opponent as odious in a noble association as the NBA for which no one is remunerated for offices held. Efforts to reach Mr. Benibo and the Branch electoral Committee for comments have so far not yielded positive results.
