Yakubu Bawa, Esq, Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Jos Branch bids farewell to National Officers, Elders of the Bar, distinguished NEC members and observers after a successful NEC meeting

The NBA-NEC Meeting held in Abeokuta, Ogun State kicked off on Wednesday, 15th December, 2021 with a Cocktail party hosted by the Chief Judge of Ogun State at the Judiciary Complex, Kobape Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State.  

Bawa, thanked the President of NBA, Mr. Olumide Akpata and all the members of his Exco for organizing a fruitful and successful NEC meeting.

He prayed that God grants journey mercies to all the members, guests and observers who attended the NBA-NEC meeting in Abeokuta, Ogun State back to their various destinations and wished them Merry Xmas and a happy new year in advance.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
