New Year Message To Jos Bar

I congratulate all of you for entering the year 2022 in good health.  I must say that we have several expectations as usual with alot of  dreams and aspirations. 

I want to use this opportunity to encourage you not to be discouraged or despondent in any way or manner whatsoever. It is true that we  are passing through several security challenges in our country. It is also  true that  we are currently grappling with insurgency, kidnapping and banditry. It is obvious that the present administration is grossly incapable to address these challenges.

I beckon on all of you to remain persistent and resilient at this time.

It is quite unfortunate that lawyers in our country today have become an endangered species. Lawyers have become the target of attacks which in most cases have resulted into gruesome killings and kidnapping of several of our colleagues.

I want to assure that 2022 is a year with  hopes and expectations. I don't want you to lose focus but to remain persistently focus with unwavering faith and commitment. 

I am so excited and optimistic that the year 2022  is going to be fulfilling and rewarding provided we remain focus and  committed to our calling as members of the noble profession. It is my earnest prayer and desire that we will all experience substantial economic prosperity this year .

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
