Former Chairman, NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) and Alternate Chairman, NBA Secretariat Restructuring Committee, Desmond Yamah congratulates the Chairman and all the  members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Uyo Branch for organizing a successful unbarred End of The Year party.

The Party which was held at Hon. Justice Eno Otu Bar Center, Judiciary Headquarters, Uyo was extremely remarkable.

He thanked God for a successful end of year and wished all the members of the Branch a very happy and prosperous New Year in advance.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon. Akpan bagged the one year jail term in a judgement delivered on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 by Presiding Magistrate Sam Ukoima Esq of Magistrate Court 11, Uyo.
