Auta Nyada Sends Goodwill Message To His Home Branch, NBA Suleja Branch (Zuma Bar) On The Occasion Of Her 2021 Annual Law Dinner/Lecture
I am thrilled to be accorded the rare privilege of saying a few words at this year’s Annual Dinner of my home Branch. My special appreciation goes first to the Branch Chairman, Mr. Clement Eddy Okhanigbe & members of his executive for leading this great branch with so much foresight, and zest, we are proud of the dynamic improvements you have brought to bare.
I wish to quickly appreciate the Bar Dinner Committee for the sheer diligence in garnering resources to put together an event such as this in keeping faith with the age long tradition of the Profession.
The importance of Bar Dinners such as this cannot be overemphasized for obvious reasons amongst others that it provides a unique opportunity for us as colleagues to network and enjoy the finest cuisine under a very relaxed atmosphere away from the extremely formal settings of our daily professional calling ; it also affords us the opportunity to strengthen our personal friendship and professional brotherhood.
As you dine and wine with one another in a more relaxed atmosphere, it is my hope and prayer that you also reflect on the state of the nation as it relates to our immediate Constituency ("the Judiciary") with the hope that our discourse in the days ahead will capture the essence of your reflections.
I cannot end this good will message without appreciating the elders of our dear branch, thank you for all your warm support and guidance.
Thank you all once more for giving me this time.
Do have a memorable evening. Bon appètìt. I
Auta Nyada Esq.
Member, NBA Welfare Committee and Co-opted NEC Rep Suleja Branch.
