The Eastern Bar Forum celebrates H.E. Sir Uba Anene as he clocks a year older today.

Sir Uba Anene is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Awka Branch and former Chairman of the Branch.

He is the Chairman, Governing Council of the Eastern Bar Forum and a five star General.

On behalf of the entire membership of the Eastern Bar Forum, I wish Your Excellency a happy and fun filled birthday celebration today.

I wish Your Excellency sound mind, good health, long life, Divine wisdom and prosperity, Amen!

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon. Akpan bagged the one year jail term in a judgement delivered on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 by Presiding Magistrate Sam Ukoima Esq of Magistrate Court 11, Uyo.
