Desmond Yamah Felicitates With Akwa Ibom State Judiciary On Its Opening Of 2021/2022 Legal Year

Former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch and the alternate Chairman, NBA Secretariat Restructuring Committee, Desmond Yamah, Esq. felicitates with the Akwa Ibom State Judiciary on the occasion of ghe opening of legal year, today,  Monday, 11th October, 2021.

Yamah, while congratulating the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Ekaette Fabian-Obot for organizing one of the best legal year ceremony ever witnessed in Akwa Ibom State,  urged the State Government to faithfully implement the financial autonomy for the state Judiciary.

Yamah, concluded by wishing all the members of Akwa Ibom State Judiciary as well as all the lawyers in all the Branches of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Akwa Ibom State,  a very happy and fruitful legal year.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
