As you mark your years of existence on mother Earth today, I join others in wishing you a very happy birthday.

Your direction and leadership qualities are top-notch and so, on this special day, I thank you for being a thoughtful and wise Leader of high ethics and morality, but above all I thank you for being a wonderful human. 

You have made very tough decisions and endured so many sleepless night, just so the Bar can work for all and it is only deserving that I wish you heavens choicest blessings on your special day. 

May you have many more years in soundness of health, and many more years of useful work for the good of the Bar and humanity.  Many happy returns my President.

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon. Akpan bagged the one year jail term in a judgement delivered on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 by Presiding Magistrate Sam Ukoima Esq of Magistrate Court 11, Uyo.
