Believers under the umbrella of Akwa Ibom Christian Assembly, ACA, gathered to seek God's face ahead of 2023 electioneering year. The Interdenominational event took place on Wednesday 27th October, 2021 at Destiny International Missions, Uyo and drew religious leaders across the 31 Local Government Area of the State.
The Solemn Assembly is in recognition of God's unfailing intervention with focus on the choice of a Leader, after God's heart.
Leading in Intercessory Prayers, the President, Akwa Ibom Christian Assembly, Archbishop Cletus Bassey noted that right from inception, the choice of Leaders is dependable on the altar of prayers because when the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoice and the Land yeilds her fruits.
According to him, any Country that gets it right in her leadership process is bound to experience productivity, peaceful cohesion and increased revenues as bad leadership will have the opposite effect, hence the need to seek God's face for Akwa Ibom State in order to experience the positive gains of good leadership.
The ACA President enjoined Christians to take the spiritual exercise seriously as 2023 is more of God and less of man. Archbishop Cletus Bassey also prayed specifically for His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, for God's guidance, presence and direction with regards to who will succeed him. He offered prayers of preservation for the First Family and asked God to open the Governor's eyes to see a successor who will continue in the track of peace, development and progress as already visible in his Administration.
The Prayer Meeting witnessed God's Anointed Servants who joined Faith together to pray for Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large. Close to a thousand worshippers gathered for this Prayer Meeting.

Rev. Ntia Ntia, Senior Pastor, Full Life Christian Centre, noted that Christians are the voice to be heard as the Rulership of God is communicated through vessels. He drew his exhortation from the book of Esther Chapter 2, noting that earthly system despite it's negativity can never stop the seed of Royalty from growing; a case study; Modercia.
