EASTERN BAR FORUM (EBF) MOURNS WITH UNITY BAR:

On behalf of the Governing Council and members of the Eastern Bar Forum, we wish to condole with the family of Mrs. Hauwa Shekerau and members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) on the death of Mrs. Hauwa Shekerau which sad event occurred this morning after a brief illness.

Until her death, Mrs. Hauwa Shekerau was the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) and a statutory member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Nigerian Bar Association.

To her family and members of the NBA, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), we pray that the Almighty God grants all of you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss as we pray for the repose of her kind soul, Amen!

Former Akwa Ibom Lawmaker Bags One Imprisonment For Giving Police False Information  By Abasiofiok Inyang  A 58 year old former lawmaker and councilor who represented Midim Ward in Abak Local Government Area, Hon. Saviour Hanson Akpan has been sentenced to one year imprison for giving police false information of theft and murder of a three day old baby. Hon.
